"In the last year or so, we've explored everything from dreams and manifestation to coordinate points and probable selves, not only in cyberspace, but also in physical reality."
Did you ever want to find a group of good friends who are into Seth-type concepts and with whom you can share experiences, questions, jokes, and philosophies on a daily basis? A group of individuals who know that they create their reality through their beliefs and who are curious about everything? A group that you can contact with just the click of a few computer keys or the motion of a mouse? Well, you get what you focus on—let me introduce you to Sethworks!
Sethworks? Yes! Although Sethworks has no official connection to Seth Network International, many Sethworks subscribers are also SNI members. Subscribers? Electronically speaking. The Sethworks entity is comprised of a group of approximately 200 vibrant individuals who use electronic mail (e-mail) and the Internet as the primary method of exchanging ideas, personal experiences, questions, and theories on the Seth information, as well as supporting material from other sources. Sethworks connects good friends, good ideas, and good times in its own virtual playground!
In just the last year or so, we've explored everything from dreams and manifestation to coordinate points and probable selves, not only in cyberspace, but also in physical reality. And here's a little taste of what the people of Sethworks have experienced.
One of the most rewarding ongoing topics centers around dreams and dreaming, the first area I'd like to share with you. Frequently, subscribers post written accounts of their dreams to Sethworks for the rest of us to read and discuss. While dream symbolism is largely subjective, there are common themes which other subscribers pick up easily and reflect to the dreamer, giving the dreamer feedback from a trusted audience.
As we continue with our dream examinations, we've seen not only an increase in the collective number of dreams remembered, but have pinpointed precognitive dreams and seen many people dreaming similar things on a given night; and lately, a few have been having connective dreams to a certain Sethworks friend who's been away for a while. we've worked at understanding out-of-body experiences and shared some remarkable stories about many dreamtime activities. Above all, it's fun, and it continues to raise our awareness about what really goes on in the "Unknown" Reality.
When I first joined Sethworks, another "hot" topic was coordinate points. Coordinate (coordination) points are "points containing great energy potential, where realities merge. They act as channels through which energy flows and as warps or invisible paths from one reality to another.... They also act as transformers and provide much of the generating energy that makes creation continuous in your terms. (Seth Speaks, Session 524).
You can imagine the number of questions an idea like this engenders in inquisitive people. Do C.P.s already exist and just move around? Are some places permanent C.P.s? Can we create our own C.P. through intent? What if we COULD create our very own coordinate point by focusing the energy of Sethworks individuals on a certain physical location? What an exciting proposition! So, we started to play with how to implement the idea.
First question: Where on earth did we want to create our C.P.? Since Sethworks is an international list, you can imagine that it was rather impossible to pick just ONE spot from the entire surface of the earth. So we didn't. We picked a point that every single person on earth can see and visualize. The moon! Why limit ourselves to this planet? Besides, we didn't want to cause any undesired earthquakes or thunderstorms!
We chose the day of a full moon, in which everyone was to focus his intention/attention on the moon. Since none of us had ever done this before, we didn't know what to expect, so we did our best to just play with the process. During the exercise, some people reported feelings of connection with the moon itself. Some could feel the moon "glowing" with the added energy. For weeks afterward, many of us found our eyes drawn to the moon when we were out at night.
Now, did we really create a coordinate point on the moon? I believe we did. You get what you focus on. It got our creative juices flowing and got us thinking more in terms of "What can we create now?"
What started next was what evolved into our ongoing "Wish List." If you want to manifest something in your life, you post a "Wish List" message declaring your intentions. Many times we'll ask for wish list support when we intend to create something that's out of our usual range of manifestation, when we're making conscious changes in our lives, or when we want to draw a desired probability into being.
Posting a wish serves a variety of purposes. The activity of physically writing/typing the wish is a strong step in crystallizing a vision, thinking the idea through, getting the words just right, etc. It gives substance to what was before merely an abstract idea. Posting your wish to Sethworks also buoys your spirit; it helps to know that there are people who also believe you can create whatever you choose and who are focused on helping you attain your goal. Among other things, the Wish List intentions have sent rain to Texas, manifested quite a few "ideal" jobs, helped a child through tear- duct surgery, and even healed some beloved house pets! One subscriber posted a request and later reported, ÓI moved rather quickly through the entire [situation] once I had posted it to Sethworks, and found I was responding to and shifting with your ideas and energy even BEFORE I received the replies. Now that's efficiency!
We also have a lot of fun with our ongoing and ever-evolving Remote Viewing experiments. One person volunteers to select an unidentified target object and, for example, places it in an envelope with "Sethworks" written on it. Then, participants focus on an image of the envelope, write down the impressions that they receive, and then e-mail these results to the volunteer. After a week or so, the volunteer compiles all of the results and posts them on Sethworks. Many times people have gotten direct "hits," some have described objects (other than the target object) in the volunteer's home as a result of conversations that have taken place there, and some have even tuned in to what the volunteer was thinking or seeing.
We also share with each other many of the techniques we use to focus on the object, and then we analyze the results for patterns. We found, for instance, that the people who view a non-target object in the volunteer's home often have more interest or emotional attachment to that object than they do to the chosen target. One participant described, in perfect detail, a leather-bound copy of a Seth book that was across the room from the target object! As a result of this discovery, the next volunteer plans to place the target object on TOP of a well-worn and well-loved copy of The Nature of Personal Reality.
Another activity that we've played with is a Group Meditation. On a specified day, participants clear their minds and concentrate on Sethworks people to connect with them. One of the most exciting results was achieved when two Sethworks people on opposite sides of the world tuned in and perceived clear images of each other!
As you can imagine, a lot of energy has gone into and continues to go into the cyberspace entity of Sethworks. I imagine the World Wide Web with bright shining lines skirting all over the earth, creating a grid of connections wherever it touches. And while Sethworks started out solely as an electronic meeting place, this year we branched out into creating physical meetings, including not only Sethworks subscribers but friends and family as well.
The first gathering of lively Sethworks folk took place in Massachusetts and included a visit to a haunted castle! There was so much fun and creative energy generated at that first get-together, we couldn't stop with just one. Since that first gathering, Sethworks people have come together in New York City, upstate New York, California, Washington State and, as I write this story there's a gathering in the works for Texas. Others are planned for California, New York City, and Washington State. Each gathering has its own local flavor and can include anything from deep discussions and channeling to visiting the seashore and attending local festivals. it's always exciting (and very unpredictable) to see what happens when we release an entire group of Sethworks people into the local populace for a day of fun!
The many physical meetings have greatly strengthened the bonds between people on Sethworks, and many have found lasting relationships. "I've found amazing friends here that I like to just hang out with," one subscriber said. After attending the first gathering, another subscriber noted, "The folks on Sethworks are even more interesting in person than they are on-line."
Of course it's not just the coordinated activities or the physical get-togethers that make Sethworks so enjoyable. One subscriber said, "The friends I've made on Sethworks have been instrumental in helping me to change some long-held beliefs, just because they cared about me and accepted my "weird" beliefs." Another added, "I love all the wonderful experiments that we do, yet the heart of this list is the opportunity to share, discuss and read in a climate of 'You Create Your Own Reality.'"
In the one-and-a-half years I have subscribed, my belief that I create my reality has grown by leaps and bounds. I used to believe it—but not really BELIEVE IT. Now I no longer have doubts.
I can hardly wait to see what happens!
