In the Spring/Summer 2001 issue of Perspectives, Karen Sanders gave a call to others to assist in getting books for and/or corresponding with prisoners through her article, ACTS to Bring 2075 a Reality. Brass Ring asked for a volunteer to head this program. Your response was overwhelming!

Many of you sent financial contributions, many graciously offered to correspond, and many sent suggestions based on their experience in sending books to prisoners. Others offered to assist in whatever way they could. I would like to personally thank everyone for their generous offers.

David Ibrahim has graciously agreed to head this program. Although all the specifics have not yet been decided, we hope to have this program up and running as soon as possible. If you would like to reach David [contact Brass Ring Bookstore].
